Gunnison LodgingGunnison lodging rates are usually cheaper than what you'll find in Crested Butte, so if you'll be in this area, I recommend staying in Gunnison. This is especially true during the winter since the winter months are the off season in Gunnison. Rates are higher during the summer but are still generally lower than what you'll find in Crested Butte. So, where to stay in Gunnison? Well, we stayed at the Super 8 Motel and were very happy with it. Here's what I can tell you about it: 1) Super 8 Motel: it's situated along the main highway through town, so it's easy to find. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It had all the things that you would normally expect to find in a chain motel and some rooms have refrigerators. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful and gave us several suggestions for where to eat dinner. So, we would definitely stay there again. Super 8 Motel-Gunnison Directions to the Super 8 in Gunnison: the motel is three blocks east of Main St. on Hwy. 50. Have you stayed anywhere in Gunnison and had a good experience there?
