I think this is called Berthoud Falls

by L. Nethery

This place you can park right off of Hwy. 40 after Berthoud. It is about 150 feet off the road and they have a place you can park. I am not sure the name of this falls but going up Hwy 40 going to Grand Lake there are quite a few falls with all the snow melt.

Karen's reply: I've never heard of Berthoud Falls but if this is it, it looks like it's definitely worth a visit, and some pictures. And speaking of the many falls you saw from all the snow melt, I know what you mean. We recently returned from a trip to southwestern Colorado, and on that trip, we saw a good number of un-named, (but still pretty), waterfalls; mostly on Wolf Creek Pass, (near Pagosa Springs), and along the Million Dollar Highway. I took some pictures of one on Wolf Creek Pass and will be adding it to this site when I have the time. Anyway, thanks again for more great photos :-).

Cascades
by: Anonymous

Berthoud Falls is a town that you pass through as you go up through Berthoud pass to winterpark. That falls you pull off of 40 and hike to are called Cascades. The actual Berthoud Falls waterfall can be seen from the Picnic Area outside of town.
